Environmental and Integrative Medicine for Children and Adults

Welcome to the U-OK Optimal Health Center.

At U-OK, we specialize in alternative medicine and integrative medicine that combines comprehensive Western Medicine with many alternative healing modalities

Dr. Elena Koles has over 25 years of experience as a physician. She created the Optimal Health Center to focus on the needs of Chicagoland's patients who can't find relief in just Western medicine alone, but still want a highly qualified MD to direct their treatment.

From Dr. Koles:

Western medicine has helped many critically ill patients, but it's less capable of preventing and mediating chronic diseases. To help my patients heal, I combine comprehensive western medicine and many pearls from unique integrative healing protocols created around the world.

My focus and training in immunology and clinical pathology help me gain a deeper understanding of bodily processes. We start by asking your body what it's doing, but we don't end there. To create an effective treatment plan, we also answer two more essential questions: How and Why.

The Optimal Health Center specializes in treating children with autism-spectrum disorders and behavioral problems and treating adults with chronic degenerative diseases, such as diabetes, adrenal and thyroid problems, auto-immune diseases, hypertension, arthritis, colitis, allergies and so on.

In her practice, Dr. Koles utilizes the following healing modalities:

  • Comprehensive Western medicine, testing
  • Environmental medicine
  • Orthomolecular medicine
  • Lab Test Interpretation for individual optimal range
  • Biomedicine and Naturopathy
  • Homeopathy
